Everyone we met was very helpful. Monserrat checked us in and was very patient with us while communicating using google translate. She gave me a few recommendations for restaurants and stores in the area. Rigoberto was very helpful bringing a fan to my co-travelers room because their AC wasn’t working well. It was quiet and peaceful on the first floor where I stayed. The AC in my room was great, but I would check for yourself because there’s a room on the fifth floor in which it didn’t work well. There’s a nice rooftop patio. My shower flowed well and was clean. I have a big truck and the parking situation is fine, but the parking lot I used was small so maybe it can become crowded, but they might also have overflow parking. I felt safe walking back to the hotel at night, and although it’s a walk uphill to the main square it’s a short distance. I hope to come back to Xilitla, and stay here again. It is very nice, quaint, and if you like steak tacos get the Molcajete at Plutarco’s restaurant close by, or probably anything at Plutarco’s is good. Their burgers looked huge and great.

Great little hotel that has all the basic amenities would the bells and whistles. It's location is perfect to various attractions, the center of the city and restaurants. Keep in mind the city is on a hill top and your daily " commute" can involve a ton of uphill climbing. Some hills are pretty steep for cars too. As for the hotel, it was clean and it has a great view from every room. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful as well. I'd go back!
